The Phoenix Suns have announced Kevin Durant’s status, per their injury report
The Phoenix Suns have released their injury report for Wednesday night’s game against the LA Clippers, and star forward Kevin Durant has been ruled out due to right hamstring soreness. This is a big disappointment for not only the Suns, but basketball fans in general, as many people were looking forward to a fully-healthy matchup between two of the most talented teams in the NBA.
The Clippers will be fully healthy for this game, which leaves Durant as the only star sidelined between the two teams. There has yet to be a fully-healthy matchup between these two teams since Phoenix brought in Bradley Beal and the Clippers brought in James Harden, as this is their first meeting of the year.
While Durant’s absence is a major disappointment, there will still be a lot of star-power on each side. For the Clippers, they will have Kawhi Leonard, Paul George James Harden, and Russell Westbrook available, while the Suns will have Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.
Fans will unfortunately have to wait to see these two teams at full strength, but for now there should still be a very exciting game played in Phoenix on Wednesday night. The Clippers and Suns always seem to play fun games, and this one should be no exception with all the talent that will be out there on the court.
