Lizzo, a pop artist and flutist, shared a significant musical victory on Instagram. She was able to perform Pink Panther with her hero at the 100th Sessions of Henry Mancini!

Pop star Lizzo plays the flute with enthusiasm; in fact, her instrument, Sasha, has its own Instagram page!

Lizzo announced some wonderful news on her instrument’s Facebook on Wednesday.

“Everyone – A floot has been keeping this a secret for a very long time,” she exclaimed in the post, using all caps.

She continued, “Happy Birthday Henry Mancini!!! (U old sir,) Thanks for putting me on ur album. I am thrilled to be part of Henry Mancini’s Pink Panther alongside my hero, James Galway.”

Lizzo will appear on the album The Henry Mancini 100th Sessions – Henry Has Company, which celebrates what would have been the American composer, pianist, and flutist’s 100th birthday.

According to discovermusic, the album will have seven tracks and guest appearances from Michael Bublé, Herbie Hancock, Arturo Sandoval, Quincy Jones, John Williams, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

In addition to celebrating the release of her album on Wednesday, Lizzo also won positivity with her “Nearly Naked Talk” post on Instagram.

Lizzo remarked, “The world can make you feel very small, and there are some things about the world that are designed to make you feel unloved,” adding that she has recently been experiencing episodes of self-hatred.

She stated, “I have to snap out of it and realize that I’m not alone,” and she made a noticeable attempt to do so.

“You’re going to be hard on yourself because life is hard? Why does that seem reasonable? Lizzo urged her followers to treat themselves with kindness as she concluded on a good note.
