The actor paired the look with her favorite mesh flats
Jennifer Lawrence layered denim on denim for her latest look.
On Saturday morning, the actor pulled up to JFK Airport in New York City alongside her husband, Cooke Maroney. She kept her outfit lowkey with a chambray button-up shirt layered over a darker pair of blue baggy jeans. Her no-fuss ensemble also included a pair of black square-shaped sunglasses and a woven straw bag (arguably chic for a carry-on bag). See photos here.
In her typical relatable fashion, J-Law went makeup-free and left her wavy hair down for her day of travel. She did, however, add a touch of glamour with a heavy silver watch and a pair of red mesh Alaïa flats—a personal favorite of the actor’s.
Lawrence has worn the fishnet shoes several times this year and last, and even owns them in multiple colors. Since partnering with stylist Jamie Mizrahi, the Oscar-winning actor has been all about easy staples, and her Alaïa flats are definitely one of them.
While she brought a pop of color to her denim ensemble, Maroney opted for a classic airport combo. His monochromatic outfit consisted of a black pullover, matching pants, and a pair of black Vans sneakers, and he casually carried a tan backpack over one of his shoulders.
Respectively in double denim and all black, the couple looked like city style veterans.Sweats are always a go-to option for traveling, but J-Law’s airport style does make a case for wearing a loose yet luxe outfit. Not only does the actor appear put-together, but she doesn’t have to pack the look she’s wearing (meaning more space in her carry-on or checked bag).
