Lizzo was the life of the party at the star-studded 10th Annual Breakthrough Prize ceremony on Saturday, taking center stage in her stunning ensemble.

The 35-year-old Truth Hurts hitmaker, who recently stated that she isn’t quitting music, attracted attention when she appeared on the red carpet at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles wearing a striking black gown.

The artist exuded a gorgeous movie star vibe while dazzling in couture that featured a corset that extended over her shoulders in the shape of wings.

She wore fancy stilettos and Bettie Page-style bangs, showcasing her innate beauty with little makeup and a carefree charm.

According to the Breakthrough Prize website, Lizzo led a glamorous group of celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Margot Robbie, and others, as they recognized a “esteemed group of the world’s most brilliant minds for their impactful scientific discoveries” at the annual event.

The Grammy winner’s visit occurs about two weeks after she posted an alarming Instagram picture in which she said she had “quit” because of constant criticism, but she later emphasized that she had no plans to stop performing music.

Following her admission on social media that she was “tired of getting dragged by everyone” due to her appearance, the 35-year-old celebrity expounded on her statement that she “quit.”

The four-time Grammy winner informed viewers in her most recent video that she truly planned to “quit giving any negative energy attention” when she came on camera.

‘What I’m not going to quit is the joy of my life, which is making music, which is connecting to people, ’cause I know I’m not alone,’ the performer (born Melissa Viviane Jefferson) assured fans.

She continued: ‘In no way, shape or form, am I the only person, who is experiencing that negative voice that seems to be louder than the positive.’

The Truth Hurts hitmaker went on to say that if she gave even just ‘one person the inspiration or motivation to stand up for themselves’ against negative people or comments than she was doing ‘more than’ she ‘could have hoped for.’

‘With that being said, I’m going to keep moving forward. I’m going to keep being me. Once again, I just wanted to say thank you. The love I have received means more than you know,’ she concluded.
