Lizzo and Linda Evangelista seem to have become the closest of friends after years of dealing with hurtful remarks demeaning their bodies.

Lizzo has a new best friend.

On Tuesday the 36-year-old singer was seen posing at the Met Gala in New York City for a selfie with 90s supermodel Linda Evangelista.

Lizzo looked stunning in a beige dress as supermodel Linda, 58, was wonderful in winter white.

The two are connected by the fact that they have both endured years of excruciating fat shaming.

Lizzo is proud of her inherent curves, and Linda has stated that using CoolSculpting caused her to gain weight unexpectedly.

For the benefit of their followers and the younger generation, both have made an effort over the years to promote body acceptance.

In 2022, Linda claimed that she gained weight after using CoolSculpting — a popular, FDA-cleared fat-freezing procedure – from August 2015 to February 2016.

The Vogue cover girl said it left her ‘permanently deformed’ and ‘brutally disfigured.’

Evangelista filed a lawsuit in September 2021 suing CoolSculpting’s parent company, Zeltiq Aesthetics Inc., for $50 million in damages.

The star said she has been unable to work as a model due to her seven sessions of CoolSculpting.

Meanwhile, Lizzo lashed out at critics for being ‘fatbophic’ if they did not like her Met Gala look.

But soon after the singer made those comments, her Instagram followers stepped in.

Several said that they did like her gown as well as her shape, but they were not happy with her headpiece.

One said it resembled a dog cone: MikexParker wrote, ‘Lizzo ur wearing a dog cone…’
