1 Lizzo performed at Radio City Music Hall in New York City in 2019 during one of two sold-out performances. She wore matching boots and a gold leotard.

She paired the metallic gold one-piece with matching black and gold Doc Martens boots, evoking a cross between a leotard and a corset.

With the theme “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” the 2019 Met Gala took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Lizzo did not disappoint. Marc Jacobs created the striking feather coat in bright and dark pink hues, according to Vogue.

 

She accessorized her outfit with a deep pink bow and a thigh slit, matching her pale pink polka dot gown with pink metallic slippers and a high pink wig in the manner of the Regency, adorned with silver jewels. The singer wore extremely rosy makeup on her lips, cheeks, and eyes.

3 Lizzo took the stage later that night at the 2019 American Music Awards, dressed in a magenta tulle gown.

According to an Instagram post by stylist Jason Rembert, who styles Lizzo, the asymmetric, layered magenta tulle gown was a custom design by Dominique Galbraith. The singer wore the dress while performing her song “Jerome.”

 

4 At the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, Lizzo made a political statement by encouraging people to vote in advance of the US presidential election while wearing a black minidress.

Lizzo took use of the Billboard Music Awards, which were held on October 14, 2020, a few weeks before the US presidential election on November 3, to utilize fashion to express her political views.

 

The word “vote” was scrawled all over the black one-sleeve minidress that the performer was wearing. Monroe claimed that the dress was a Christian Siriano creation, and the stylist accessorized it with black wrap-around heels by Ego, a bracelet and earrings by Lorraine Schwartz.

5 Later at the 2020 Grammy Awards, Lizzo changed into a delicate sparkly sheer dress.

While showing off the three Grammy awards she had accepted that night, Lizzo changed into a sparkly number for the press room at the event. According to Monroe, Lizzo was wearing a low-cut, sheer Versace dress with cascading foil threads. Her diamond jewelry was by Lorraine Schwartz and her silver heels were by Ego.

6 Lizzo wore one of her signature leotards in neon-green latex to sing at the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival 2021.

Lizzo danced at the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, wearing a neon-green vinyl leotard with crisscross stitching and long, fluted sleeves.

 

Her neon-green boots and socks matched, carrying the color scheme through. For the performance, the singer styled her hair into a sleek ponytail.

7 In 2021, Lizzo wore an iridescent sheer-purple maxi dress to Cardi B’s birthday party.

Lizzo wore a sparkly sheer-purple maxi dress by Matthew Reisman to the party, according to the brand’s website. She wore pasties and a thong underneath the daring dress and had a side ponytail with silver butterfly accessories.

While pictures show the singer was barefoot, she confirmed that this wasn’t for the whole party.  She shared the look on Instagram with a caption that read: “I wore jimmy choos for the record.”

8 Lizzo attended SXSW 2022 in Austin, Texas, and dressed in every hue imaginable.

Lizzo made her SXSW festival debut on March 13 in Austin, Texas, sporting a rainbow-tile minidress with frills and matching stiletto boots by D.Haleter, who complimented her on Instagram for the ensemble. Lizzo debuted a ’60s bob hairstyle.

At a Q&A during the festival, Lizzo spoke about her new Prime Video show, “Watch Out For The Big Grrrls,” which follows her search for plus-size dancers for her next tour. “Big girls have always had value, but I don’t think society has seen the value in bigger bodies,” she said.

 

In a cover interview with People’s Jason Sheeler on March 2, Lizzo said her personal confidence grew alongside her success. “I wasn’t supposed to survive. I wasn’t supposed to make it this far. I wasn’t supposed to be a millionaire. I wasn’t supposed to be a 𝑠e𝑥 symbol,” she said, adding that she wants these attributes to have a lasting influence.
