Warner Bros. Pictures has finally given the go-ahead for “Constantine 2,” the long-awaited follow-up to the cult classic movie. The movie, which stars the strange Keanu Reeves as the title character, looks like it will go deeper into John Constantine’s dark and mysterious world.
Following the success of the first film, which gained a dedicated fanbase for its gritty portrayal of the occult detective, “Constantine 2” is poised to take audiences on an even more thrilling journey. With Reeves returning to reprise his iconic role, fans can expect to see the brooding anti-hero grappling with new supernatural threats and facing his inner demons once again.
Returning to helm the project is Francis Lawrence, the visionary director behind the original 2005 film. Alongside him is the esteemed Akiva Goldsman, renowned for his contributions to blockbuster cinema, who is actively shaping the script. Collaborating with them are industry luminaries such as Hannah Minghella of Bad Robot, as well as James Gunn and Peter Safran from DC Studios, ensuring the sequel seamlessly integrates into the broader DC universe.
