Beyonce has added her vocals to singer J Balvin’s bi-lingual hit Mi Gente in the name of hurricane relief efforts.
The remix dropped on Beyonce’s official website Thursday with no prior warning, and the 36-year-old singer was sure to celebrate her latest release with a series of bright photographs.
Along with a link to the YouTube video containing the clip, Bey wrote: ‘I am donating my proceeds from this song to hurricane and earthquake relief charities for Puerto Rico, Mexico and other affected Caribbean islands.’

Beyonce sports a colourful striped dress in the photo set as she showed herself twerking along to the song.
The singer cuts loose in the shots which show her blonde hair cascading down her shoulders as she sports round-framed sunglasses.
Knowles’ star power will no doubt propel the track up the charts, similar to Justin Bieber’s contribution to Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s Despacito remix earlier this year.

Fiesta: Bey hiked up her skirt as she danced to the bilingual party track which she added vocals
The original version of the song without Beyonce has stalled at number 19 on the Hot 100 chart for two weeks, and fans will have to wait until Monday to see if her new vocals give the song a boost.
Mi Gente’s remix comes just days after it was announced Bey’s husband Jay-Z would headline a Tidal benefit concert for hurricane relief efforts.
The event was rumored before it’s official announcement, leading many to speculate the Single Ladies singer would make her return to the stage for the occasion.

Yummy fashion: The garment was cinched in the middle by an Off-White brand belt, which Bey takes a bite out of in this shot
Beyonce is not listed as a performer on Tidal’s official website, though fans may still hold out hope as ‘many more’ is written at the end of the lineup, which also features Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea.
Her followers have been eagerly awaiting her return to performing after giving birth to twins Rumi and Sir in June of this year.
Earlier this year, Bey was forced to postpone her headlining spot at Coachella due to her pregnancy.

She has since announced that she will instead headline 2018’s music and arts festival, held in the Coachella Valley of California.
In the meantime, it appears she is gathering inspiration from other productions, being recently spotted at a Bruno Mars concert on Monday, as well as Broadway productions of Dear Evan Hansen and Aladdin in the past month.
The Houston, Texas native also has five year old daughter Blue Ivy.
Benefit: Her husband Jay-Z will headline a concert for Tidal which will also donate to charity
Surprise?: Though she is not listed as a performer at the New York concert, fans are holding out hope she will make an appearance anyway
