Jennifer Lawrence turned the streets of New York City‘s East Village into her personal runway while stepping out on Friday morning.
The 33-year-old actress stood out in a bright red crewneck sweatshirt worn underneath a jet-black double-breasted jacket as she made her way down the city’s walkways.
The star of the Hunger Games franchise – who was recently spotted in the company of her young son Cy – also wore a pair of slightly oversized pants that matched the color of her outerwear, as well as dual-tone sneakers.
Lawrence accessorized with a bright yellow purse and dark sunglasses, and her voluminous blonde locks cascaded onto her shoulders.
The performer’s outing took place just a day after it was revealed that Apple Original Films had obtained the global rights to the documentary feature Bread & Roses, which she produced.

According to Deadline, the Sahra Mani-directed feature made its official debut during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
The documentary was centered on a trio of Afghan women resisting the rule of the Taliban.
In addition to Lawrence and her producing partner Justine Ciarrocchi, the feature was produced by Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai.
The feature received positive reviews upon its debut, and it currently holds a score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Bread & Roses is currently set to premiere on the Apple TV+ streaming service on June 21.
The American Hustle actress spoke about the feature during an interview with Deadline and recalled that she first developed an interest in the plight of Afghan women while monitoring the end of the War in Afghanistan.
‘I was watching the fall of Kabul on the news in 2021 and I told Justine, you know, we need to find somebody on the ground, that can get a camera in there,’ she said.
Lawrence went on to praise Mani and opened up about why she wanted the filmmaker to helm the feature.

‘She’s the perfect person to do it…I think her point of view, not to mention her camera abilities are remarkable,’ she stated.
The performer then spoke about her production company, Excellent Cadaver, which she founded in 2018.
‘What we want to do is just keep making things that we respond to, that we care about. We’re right at the genesis of the company so it’s hard to say what it is, or what it will be,’ she stated.
‘We’ll just keep following what’s important to us and what we want to make,’ she added.
