The 28-year-old indulged her passion for adventure as she joined British assistant director husband Tom Ackerley for a spot of surfing off the coast of Costa Rica.

The two rode the waves together, with Margot showing her skill as she paddled out over the large waves, before managing to get to her feet on her yellow board.

The Suicide Squad star told ES magazine: ‘I never do anything on my own. I don’t see the purpose of doing anything if I don’t do it with my friends. I go mental when I am on my own; my thoughts are so loud it drives me insane.’

Luckily Margot doesn’t have much time for loneliness, with her career keeping her constantly busy.
