Ebanie Bridges continues to defend her friendship with Conor McGregor from social media trolls.
The unlikely pals first met at Katie Taylor’s homecoming in May 2023 before joining up again at Anthony Joshua’s fight with Robert Helenius a few months later.

Since then, Bridges has signed a sponsorship deal with McGregor’s beer company Forged Irish Stout, and they have partied together at his popular pub in Dublin.
On Friday, ‘The Blonde Bomber’ posted a clip of her post-fight interview after she defeated Shannon O’Connell to retain her IBF female bantamweight title in December 2022.
Most fans lauded Bridges for her accomplishments, but one person took to her comment section to make an off-topic point about her relationship with MMA’s biggest star.
“Hard not to like you Ebanie, your achievements are fantastic,” the fan tweeted. “But unfortunately your association with McGregor does nothing to enhance your status. He’s an embarrassment.”
The 37-year-old boxer defended McGregor with a ruthless rebuttal.
Bridges replied: “You don’t know Conor personally do you?”
“You just judge him for what he shows online… just like all the people who judge me negatively that don’t know me. Don’t be so quick to judge people. He’s very smart and successful he knows what he’s doing and he’s far from an embarrassment.”
The fan quickly backtracked on their criticism of Bridges but continued to cast aspersions about McGregor before his pal backed him up once again.

She added: “Exactly, u don’t… but that’s fine that he isn’t ur cup of tea, can’t please everyone, don’t watch him or give him ur attention then.
“But don’t say he does nothing for my status cos he is embarrassing cos I can tell you he does plenty for it. He’s a good supportive human. Look how many fighters he sponsors look how much he gives back to combat sports. Yet fight fans sit here and hate.”
While Bridges engages with online hate, McGregor tends to ignore it and go about his business after earning around £200million since joining the UFC in 2013.
‘Notorious’ is due to return from a three-year injury layoff against Michael Chandler this summer and MMA fans are waiting for Dana White to confirm an official date for his comeback bout.
Bridges is currently without an opponent after losing her title to Miyo Yoshida in December, but McGregor will be backing her whenever a return fight is booked.
