A man saw Margot as she was celebrating the wrap party for her upcoming film Suicide Squad in Toronto, Canada on Sunday, after which he presented her with a toy in a wedding dress.

Margot – who was already wearing a mystery band on her ring finger – looked thrilled by the proposal.

Margot completed her look with on-trend black ankle boots and a pink shoulder bag.

She appears as the super villain character Harley Quinn in her role, as her and fellow super villains go on missions for a government agency.

Margot, who is originally from Australia’s Queensland, is currently in a relationship with beau Tom Ackerley.

The pair have been dating for over a year with rumours recently emerging that the pair have secretly wed.

But in July, Margot’s mother Sarie Kessler told Daily Mail Australia her daughter was not yet married.

‘Margot would have said something if she had,’ she said.

Of her daughter’s relationship she added: ‘They were friends and met while she was living in London, five friends together rented a house in Clapham, they loved it.’
