Scarlett Johansson reckons the world will get bored of her looks in a “couple of years”

Scarlett Johansson has revealed that she doesn’t understand why people think she is 𝑠e𝑥y, which makes us feel as if she has A) failed to look at herself in the mirror for ten years and B) never watched any of her own films.

The actress, whose ex-husband Ryan Reynolds is surely enough to prove that she is hot stuff, opened up to Empire magazine about her looks in a new interview.

Scarlett knows exactly how to grind our gears

When asked if she thinks of herself as attractive, Scarlett said: “I don’t know, I don’t think of myself that way. It’s alright for now.

“I’m convinced that obviously in a couple of years’ time it will be somebody else. I won’t be as interesting that way.”

If by “a couple of years”, Scarlett means 50, then we can see where she’s coming from, but at 27, she’s got a fair while of being super hot yet.

The blonde continues to explain that she doesn’t even know where the notion of her being 𝑠e𝑥y even comes from. Groan

Scarlett said: “I actually have not played that many 𝑠e𝑥y characters! Of course you could say the characters I played maybe in ‘Match Point’, maybe in ‘Black Dahlia’ [are 𝑠e𝑥y]. But the characters I play aren’t really traditionally 𝑠e𝑥y, I don’t think.

“I think it’s probably a reaction to the fact that I’m curvy and confident about it, maybe. But I don’t think I was particularly 𝑠e𝑥y in ‘Lost in Translation’ or particularly 𝑠e𝑥y in ‘The Other Boleyn Girl.”

We get it – Scarlett doesn’t think she’s 𝑠e𝑥y, but she damn well is, so she’s just going to have to accept it and move on.
