Actress Margot Robbie has had the opportunity to work with the best in the business after starring with seasoned actor Leonardo DiCaprio in the Wolf of Wall Street, directed by the iconic Martin Scorsese.
But the the 24-year-old star, whose big break came when she scored the role of Donna on Australian soap Neighbours, says she has the lessons she learned at Ramsay street to thank for her bi-screen success.
In an interview with the Sunday Telegraph, the A-list star cited working on Neighbours as her biggest learning curve so far, calling her time on the show ‘valuable’ and acknowledging how much the series helped her as a professional.

‘Probably the most valuable knowledge I’ve acquired in the industry so far was on Neighbours,’ said the blonde beauty.
‘It is so fast paced that there is not really any room for error and it turns you into a very efficient person when it comes to being on set.’
The Queensland-born star played Donna Freedman on the long running series from 2008 to 2011, working alongside fellow Aussie stars Caitlin Stasey and Dean Geyer, and earning two Logie Award nominations for her portrayal of the lovable girl-next-door character.

But after featuring in hundreds of episodes, the starlet decided to leave the production, packing her bags and moving to America.
The bold move paid off for the stunner, who eventually landed her breakthrough role alongside Leonardo in the 2013 hit film The Wolf Of Wall Street.
Although her career is thriving overseas, Margot still has her sights set on her homeland, and is always on the hunt for job opportunities back in Oz.
‘I still have my agent back in Australia keeping an eye on things there and we are trying to find the right job which will bring me home to shoot,’ she revealed.
Her love for the country is evident, with the fashionable actress even admitting that she likes to support local talent by wearing designers from the land down under.

However it looks like the A-lister will have to stay overseas for a while with a string of new productions in the works.
The personality is currently working on her role as Jane in the big budget 3D film Tarzan, alongside True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard.
Set for a 2016 release the movie, which is still filming, also features Quentin Tarantino’s regular collaborators, Christoph Waltz and Samuel L Jackson.
Despite the use of Tarantino’s pals, Tarzan will not be directed by the star, with David Yates getting behind the camera instead.
Margot has also filmed World War II film Suite Française, romantic comedy Focus and science fiction piece Z for Zachariah.
But it hasn’t always been smooth sailing for the talented actress, who once starred in the failed American period drama Pan Am.
Also featuring Christina Ricci, the television series was cancelled after just one season due to poor ratings.
