‘It is key to…’ – Vinicius Jr gives advice to Real Madrid-bound striker after maiden Brazil goal

Endrick won everyone’s hearts on Saturday as he scored his first international goal for Brazil, during a 1-0 win over England at Wembley.

It was a momentous occasion for the young forward, who was one of Brazil’s standout players in their hard-fought win over the Three Lions.

Shortly after the game, Endrick had expressed his delight for scoring his maiden goal, calling it an ‘unbelievable’ moment.

Vinicius’ message to Endrick

What made Endrick’s first Brazil goal even more special was that his future Real Madrid teammate Vinicius Junior was part of the same group.

Speaking to the media after the game, Vinicius even sent a message to Endrick after his performance against England.

“It’s key to listen to the ‘old’ players in the dressing room. I hope Endrick will do the same, he’s a top player and top guy,” Vinicius said (h/t Fabrizio Romano).

Vinicius Junior will share the pitch with Endrick at Real Madrid next season, with the latter set to join the camp in the summer, after he turns 18.

In fact, it is very much a possibility that the Real Madrid frontline could be led by the Brazilian trifecta of Vinicius, Endrick and Rodrygo in the years to come.

Vinicius Junior, for his part, has backed Endrick to succeed at Real Madrid. “I expect him to evolve and develop further and arrive at Real Madrid. He is ready to make an impact,” he said.

The pat on the back of Vinicius could go a long way for Endrick as he prepares for his big move to Real Madrid this summer.

In the meantime, though, the youngster will be looking to extend his form this week as Brazil take on Spain on Saturday – a game that will see Endrick take on his future teammates such as Joselu and Dani Carvajal.
