Megan Fox channeled Jennifer Check in Vivienne Westwood at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards.
A little goth, a little glam.
Megan Fox brought her most iconic (undead) character back to life at Sunday night’s People’s Choice Awards 2024, dressed in a white strapless Vivienne Westwood gown styled with a black ribbon choker and glossy, blood-red lip.
A metal mesh Natalia Fedner hand bracelet ($675) and additional jewels from Pasquale Bruni completed the look.
“jennifer’s prom dress x final fantasy cosplay (cursed bride edition),” the brunette bombshell captioned Instagram photos of her sultry look, referencing her “Jennifer’s Body” alter ego’s iconic lacy, beribboned white gown from the 2009 movie.
Written by Diablo Cody and directed by Karyn Kusama, the 2009 horror comedy has become a cult classic over the years.
“jennifer’s prom dress x final fantasy cosplay (cursed bride edition),” Fox captioned her Instagram post showing off the look.
“you are killing people” … “no, i’m killing boys,” one fan commented, quoting Fox in the cult classic.
Machine Gun Kelly’s fiancée — who plays a possessed high school cheerleader in the feminist horror comedy — spoke to WWD last year about how she identifies with the villainous Jennifer Check on a number of levels.
“Before she was turned into a demon and she became this Goth icon, [Jennifer] was this poppy, typical cheerleader, Forever 21 girl. She was that typical girl who then there was this other side to her where she became the sort of demon sorceress. And I am both of those things, and I always have been,” Fox told the outlet at the time.
“you are killing people” … “no, i’m killing boys,” one fan commented on Fox’s pose, quoting the movie. She styled her gown with a black ribbon choker, just like her character.
Fox has spoken about how she deeply identifies with her “Jennifer’s Body” character.
The actress presented an award alongside Joe Manganiello at the People’s Choice Awards.
She’s certainly not afraid to clap back at her critics; most recently, the “Transformers” star responded to trolls who compared her to a “blow-up doll” by joking that she actually looks like “one of those super expensive silicone real 𝑠e𝑥 dolls you can only get in japan.”
It’s been a busy couple of weeks for Fox; before making a cameo at the People’s Choice Awards to present the award for Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show of the Year to “Loki” alongside Joe Manganiello, she got all laced up for the Super Bowl in Las Vegas — where she and MGK partied with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Fox also recently debuted a colorful new tattoo sleeve after saying she planned to “rework” some of her ink.
