Jennifer Lawrence revealed an important question that she waited until late in her relationship to ask husband Cooke Maroney.
The couple exchanged vows in 2019 and welcomed their first child in 2022.
During a recent interview on Chicken Shop Date, she joked that she waited so long to check in with Cooke about one topic that it was basically the day of their wedding.
“I asked my husband way late in our relationship,” she said, laughingly adding that the conversation happened “on our wedding day.”
“I was like, ‘Do you like The Hunger Games?’ Then he just died laughing at me and texted all my friends that I said that.”
If you were concerned, he does like the franchise, which Jennifer starred in! That could have been really awkward otherwise.
Jennifer also recalled the moment Cooke proposed to her, describing it as “terrifying but very, very exciting.”
“I didn’t say what I wanted to. I, like, imagined it a million times, and then I ended up just going, ‘What? What? What?’ And then going, ‘Thank you, thank you, thank you,’” she said.
Love must be in the air for Jennifer, who was spotted attending a friend’s wedding at the New York City Courthouse on Friday (June 30). She wore an olive colored trench coat over a sunny yellow dress with long sleeves for the event.
The actress waved at photographers and appeared excited for the special day.
If you missed it, she very recently discussed her changing relationship with the paparazzi and what sparked the evolution.
