Academy Awards host Jimmy Kimmel has made of fun of Margot Robbie’s shock Oscars snub.
The comedian was in the middle of his opening monologue at the show on Sunday when he joked about Margot’s mega-hit Barbie, which is nominated for Best Picture alongside hot favourite Oppenheimer.
He also took a shot at Margot’s co-star Ryan Gosling, who received an Oscar nod for his role as Ken in the box office champ.
‘Ryan and Margot, I want you to know, even if neither one of you wins an Oscar tonight, you both already won something much more important – the genetic lottery,’ Kimmel said.
Both stars laughed at the joke, but the response in the auditorium was subdued.

‘I know you are clapping, but you’re the ones who didn’t vote for her, by the way. Don’t act like you had nothing to do with this.’
