Michael Chandler uses WWE debut to cut Conor McGregor promo Triple H and The Rock would be proud of

Michael Chandler is doing everything he can to fight Conor McGregor.

The lightweight contender has already sat out for over a year, filmed a series of The Ultimate Fighter, and agreed to put on 30lbs to face ‘Notorious’ at middleweight.

However, their matchup still doesn’t have a date and UFC CEO Dana White recently suggested McGregor may never fight again because he is extremely wealthy.

Nevertheless, Chandler refuses to give up on his ‘Red Panty Night’.

‘Iron’ made a surprise appearance in Anaheim, California on WWE Monday Night RAWand he used his mic time to cut a promo calling out McGregor.

“Hey, what’s up Anaheim! You are now in the presence of the most entertaining UFC fighter on the planet,” Chandler said.

“There’s a man from Ireland that’s been making me wait for way too long, and I’ve still got one dude on my mind!

“Conor McGregor, get your candy ass back to the octagon! We’ve got some unfinished business, boys! God bless. I’ll see you at the top!”

WWE legends Triple H and The Rock would’ve been proud of his debut in the professional wrestling organisation, which recently merged with the UFC in a £17.3 billion deal.

More UFC stars are expected to appear in the WWE soon, but it remains to be seen if any wrestlers fancy following in the footsteps of Brock Lesnar and CM Punk by signing up for a real fight in MMA’s premier promotion.

McGregor is yet to respond to Chandler’s latest call out.

The former dual-weight champion has been surprisingly quiet despite the fact his comeback date has been delayed again and White is openly questioning his desire to fight.

McGregor hasn’t fought since breaking his leg during a trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier, but he has previously been vocal about wanting to return as soon as possible.

Perhaps Chandler’s WWE promo will entice a response from the UFC superstar.
