George Russell argued that Max Verstappen should have been disqualified from the Spanish Grand Prix for deliberately driving into him at 140mph.

Russell went on to take fourth in a contest won coolly by McLaren’s Oscar Piastri.

Lying third, Verstappen wobbled on the kerb and lost places to Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and then Russell, including contact with the former. Verstappen detoured off track, going past Russell in the process.
