Travis Kelce momentarily forgot where Taylor Swift is performing when he was talking about his girlfriend at his latest Super Bowl media conference.
Facing the cameras early on Wednesday morning in Vegas, Kelce was asked if Swift had given him a motivational pep talk ahead of Sunday’s game – where his Kansas City Chiefs team play San Francisco 49ers.
‘No, no she hasn’t,’ Kelce said with a smile. ‘She is focused on entertaining the crowd out in, I think it’s, is it Singapore right now? Or, I think that is in a few weeks. I know she is out in Japan, Tokyo maybe.
‘So she’s just working on entertaining them, making sure she is ready for her performances and everything. The Super Bowl, we will worry about if she can make it.’
Kelce has faced the media every day since the Chiefs landed in Vegas on Sunday night and has taken every question about his girlfriend in good grace amid his own intensifying preparations for the game against San Francisco 49ers.

Kelce has been coy over his girlfriend making the game in Vegas after her run of shows
Swift is expected to make the trip back from Japan for the game on the west coast, although the Kansas City star has stayed coy on her attendance all week.
She is playing four straight nights in Tokyo before the game and next weekend, starts a tour of Australia in Melbourne.
Kelce, however, is right that she is playing in Singapore soon. She has six nights at its National Stadium at the beginning of March before a two month break ahead of a European tour.
The tight end, 34, is bidding to win his second straight Super Bowl after last year emerging victorious over the Philadelphia Eagles and his older brother Jason.
Earlier this week, he joked that he hopes he wins a Super Bowl ring to go along with her success at the Grammys last Sunday.
‘She’s unbelievable. She’s rewriting the history books herself. I told her I’ll have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with some hardware, too,’ he said.
The 34-year-old also acknowledged that thousands of her fans will be cheering him on during Sunday’s game.
‘She’s definitely brought a lot of new faces to the game, and it’s been fun to experience that,’ he said.
‘Taylor has an unbelievable fanbase that follows her and supports her throughout her life.
‘It’s been fun to kind of gather the Swifties into Chiefs Kingdom and open them up to the football world and sports world. It’s been cool to experience that.’
