“Novocaine” is a dark action-comedy film that follows Nathan Caine (played by Jack Quaid), a socially awkward bank employee in San Diego who suffers from a rare condition that renders him unable to feel physical pain.

His mundane life takes a turn when he starts a relationship with his charming co-worker Sherry Margrave (Amber Midthunder). On Christmas Eve, their bank is violently robbed, and Sherry is taken hostage. With nothing left to lose, Nathan teams up with Roscoe (Jacob Batalon), his gamer friend he’s never met in person, and embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue her.
