Big Boi Teases New Album With Killer Mike’s Help

In a video shared on social media on Wednesday (March 26), the two Atlanta legends are in a recording studio (along with a Star Wars Stormtrooper) when Big Boi says: “Working on a new album, we just had to fight off 50 Stormtroopers.”

Big Boi has release three solo albums since OutKast went on hiatus in the mid-’00s: Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico DustyVicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors and Boomiverse.

He has also dropped two collaborative projects: Big Grams in 2015 with electro-rockers Phantogram and 2021’s Big Sleepover with fellow Dungeon Family member Sleepy Brown.

In an interview with Rolling Stone last year, André 3000 admitted that he and Big were “further away than ever” from reuniting for a new album.
