Russell Wilson shares a cryptic message as Aaron Rodgers visits the Pittsburgh Steelers, potentially to replace him.

Russell Wilson seemingly offered a cryptic response to Friday’s news that his former team Pittsburgh Steelers were hosting Aaron Rodgers for a visit.

Wilson led the Steelers to the playoffs last season before they lost to the Baltimore Ravens but is now a free agent with his contract expired.

The organization in Pittsburgh are considering a move to sign Rodgers, 41, after the quarterback was cut by the New York Jets and if they were to sign him, it would close the door on Wilson’s chances of a return to Pittsburgh.

For Rodgers, one option for his future was seemingly ended earlier in the week when it emerged that the Minnesota Vikings will start the season with JJ McCarthy as their quarterback.

But days afterwards, the two were pictured together – tagged in an image by Proactive Sports Performance, a California-based fitness program that players from across the NFL attend in the offseason.
