Dillon Danis held candid chat with friend Conor McGregor after Logan Paul link-up

Dillon Danis had a heart-to-heart with Conor McGregor after he spent time with arch nemesis Logan Paul.

Danis was famously disqualified after attempting to guillotine rival Paul in a huge boxing fight in 2023, which descended into a farcical mess.

McGregor spent time with the Paul brothers in the US

The pair were embroiled in a bitter feud, which saw Danis verbally attack Paul’s fiancee Nina Agdal on multiple occasions on social media as the pair traded insults.

Agdal filed a lawsuit against Danis over the comments, with a legal battle ongoing.

Paul recently attended US president Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony, where Danis’ friend and UFC superstar McGregor was in attendance.

The pair spent time together firing comical insults at each other over a potential fight, but seemed in good spirits as they posed for videos together alongside Jake Paul.

And Danis has revealed he spoke to McGregor afterwards in a candid conversation, after feeling upset in seeing the videos of the pair together.

He told Ariel Helwani: “I can’t lie, Logan’s trying to ruin my life and trying to take money from my kid’s mouth and my whole family’s mouth every single day.

“And he’s [McGregor] been through lawsuits, so he knows what it’s like to be sued. Like, it sucks. That’s why it kind of hurt.

“Like, you’re kind of laughing and giggling with a guy that’s really f***ing ruining my fucking life, you know.

“At the time, yeah, remember I was upset. I’m not going to throw two bones, but I mean, yeah, I was upset.

“Maybe I over—not overreacted—but like, he posted some stuff on his story. The story just kind of felt like, I don’t know, I was upset.”

“We talked it out like friends do, not online. We just talked about it and we said how we feel and we move on.

“I didn’t post anything about it directly, and we should talk about it as friends, you know. And actually, we did, and it went really well. Everything’s good.”

McGregor and Danis appear to have fixed their brief rift and remain friends, with their long-term partnership having formed in an MMA gym after training together.

Danis could look to reach out to McGregor for help again as he prepares for his latest boxing fight against bitter rival KSI.

It will be a busy period for ‘El Jefe’ who will also make his first appearance with MMA promotion Global Fighters League in a huge clash with Tony Ferguson.

His primary focus will be on beating ‘The Nightmare’, which would be a huge upset before his MMA return.

But he revealed he would love to sign with Dana White’s UFC in the future if he can build momentum there.

And he even suggested that White’s promotion were looking at signing him but lost interest after his antics with Paul.
