Tyson Fury goes for breakfast with Sir Alex Ferguson as he ‘considers ending retirement after 38 days’ with clock ticking on Anthony Joshua super-fight

Tyson Fury is reportedly considering coming out of his recent retirement to set up a long-awaited clash with Anthony Joshua.

The Gypsy King announced his retirement last month with immediate effect on the heels of his second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in December of last year.

‘Hi everybody, I’m going to make this short and sweet,’ he said in a clip he shared to social media. ‘I’d like to announce my retirement from boxing. It’s been a blast, I’ve loved every single minute of it.

Whether the post is a reference to moves being made behind the scenes remains to be seen, but the fighter’s promoter Eddie Hearn has been keen to set up the next fight for Joshua, who fell to Daniel Dubois in September.
