The Philadelphia native playfully declared that her home team is going to defeat the Chiefs on MondayPatti LaBelle and Taylor Swift.
Patti LaBelle wants Taylor Swift to be prepared for a loss from Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they face off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday in a Super Bowl LVII rematch.
During Friday’s episode of Tamron Hall, the 79-year-old singer predicted that her home football team will defeat the Chiefs.
The Philadelphia native joined Tamron Hall to share some of her festive recipes ahead of the holiday season, including a five-cheese mac and cheese and collard greens.
While the two women were indulging in the singer’s signature dishes, Hall shared a conversation she had with one of her producers about the upcoming game, in which they teased each other about who would win. Hall, 53, said the producer believed Swift, 33, who has been romantically linked to Kelce since September, could help their chances.
“She had the nerve to say to me, ‘Well, the Chiefs are playing the Eagles and the Chiefs have Taylor Swift,’ ” Hall said, before telling the audience, “I said ‘The Eagles got Patti LaBelle.’ ”

The “Lady Marmalade” singer then turned away from Hall and the audience in disbelief before stating her home team will leave with a win.
“Let me say something. Taylor, and all your Swifties, back up boo boo. The [Chiefs] are going down.”
She continued, “The Eagles are going to win. I mean it’s a done deal. I love you Taylor but stay home.”
LaBelle recently joined the Eagles as a surprise singer for their holiday album, A Philly Special Christmas Special.
She recorded with Eagles tackle Jordan Mailata, who shared it was “nerve-wracking” to sing “in front of a great” like LaBelle. “Music was my first love before sports,” he told ABC 6 this week.
Kelce’s elder brother, Eagles center Jason Kelce, told New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast listeners that Mailata is “very talented” musically, and has even “been teaching himself banjo in the locker room” this season.
Kelce, 34, also worked on the album, joining his brother on the song, “Fairytale of Philadelphia,” which dropped Wednesday.

During the Chiefs’ bye week, Kelce traveled to Buenos Aires to attend the start of Swift’s Latin America leg of the Eras Tour.
The new romance between Swift and Kelce has been heating up since the “Blank Space” singer first attended a Chiefs game on Sept. 24. Since then, she has been spotted at three more of Travis’ games as well as on a number of date nights with the athlete.
A source told PEOPLE in late October that the romance between the two was becoming “more serious.”
