ansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, is on a mission to raise awareness about severe food allergies in young children after a frightening incident involving their 1-year-old son, Bronze.
In an Instagram video, Brittany, 28, shared the ordeal she faced over the summer when Bronze suffered a severe allergic reaction to peanuts. Describing it as “one of the scariest experiences of [her] life,” she emphasized the importance of educating parents on recognizing and responding to such situations.
“So I have an infant and a toddler both who have severe food allergies, and I think it is very important to raise awareness of what a severe reaction may look like if it were to happen to a child,” Brittany explained in the video, created in partnership with AUVI-Q, an epinephrine injection used to treat allergic reactions in infants and toddlers.
Parents must be aware of their children
