Patrick Mahomes claims his pal Travis Kelce hasn’t let the attention he’s received from dating Taylor Swift get to his head.
“He’s still Travis Kelce,” the Kansas City Chief’s quarterback told reporters Wednesday, per TMZ.
“He still will walk through the stadium and treat every single person like they’re his best friend. And he’s going to be like that in the locker room every single day.”
Mahomes, 28, further said the tight end has “just been himself the whole time” despite gaining the attention of millions of Swifties and becoming a pop-culture phenomenon.
“Travis has always been Travis,” the NFL star continued, adding that his teammate’s rising fame has always been his lifelong dream, according to the outlet.

Kelce reportedly believes Swift’s his “lucky charm” as the Chiefs have won several games she’s attended.
The “New Heights” podcaster most recently helped lead his team to victory during their playoff game against the Buffalo Bills Sunday while the Grammy winner cheered him on from the VIP suite.
If the Chiefs win their upcoming game against the Baltimore Ravens on Jan. 28, they will secure a spot at the 2024 Super Bowl for the second year in a row.
However, even if Kelce doesn’t make it to the Super Bowl he will still be the MVP, with sources telling us he’s “good for business.”
Sources told Page Six that corporations would prefer if the NFL star doesn’t play at the Feb. 11 game in Las Vegas, so that he can make appearances at sponsored events around the city.
Per our insiders, brands are ready to offer him up to $1 million for appearances because he “bring a lot of attention.”
