Khloe Kardashian‘s ex-husband Lamar Odom has revealed their current relationship status, after his shock cameo on the season six trailer of The Kardashians.

The 40-year-old reality star — who recently talked about ’empathy’ following backlash for water usage amid the L.A. fires — was previously married to the former professional basketball player from 2009 until their divorce was finalized in 2016.

When the trailer for season six of The Kardashians dropped on Friday, fans were stunned to see Lamar and Khloe reunite onscreen.

Now the NBA alum has revealed how the meeting between the two was brought about, adding that he had no idea beforehand that it would be filmed.

He was asked point blank if he and Khloe were back together, and replied: ‘I wouldn’t say back together,’ before adding: ‘It would be a blessing just to be her friend.’

Later in the interview, host Kyle Sandilands returned to the subject, asking of Lamar still loved Khloe and wanted to rekindle their relationship.

The teaser for the upcoming season — which will premiere on February 6 — includes plenty of drama for fans, including Kim dishing about a new romance.

Khloe could then be seen talking to sister Kim and mother Kris Jenner and revealed to the pair, ‘You guys are never going to believe who I met with.’

Khloe then can be heard sharing, ‘I don’t know this person anymore,’ although it is not known if she was specifically referencing to Odom.

Khloe – who shares True, six, and Tatum, two, with ex Tristan Thompson – also told her family while raising her voice: ‘It’s the truth. The truth hurts one time. A lite hurts 7,000 times!’

After four years of marriage, Khloe filed for divorce from Lamar in 2013 when he was also embroiled in rumors of substance abuse issues.

On the episode, Odom also admitted to buying a 𝑠e𝑥 doll that resembled Khloe. ‘When you’re really thinking about it, [it’s] like a doll.’

The star opened up about her dating life — only eight months after parting ways with NFL star Odell Beckham Jr.

This all comes just weeks after reports surfaced that Kim has been quietly courted by someone who’s decidedly off the celebrity radar.

Kim is no stranger to a high profile romance as her dating history includes the aforementioned Odell, Pete Davidson, and a marriage to Kanye West, however, it is claimed that she may be doing something different this time around.

Back in March it was revealed that Kim and Odell had split – a year after they were romantically linked.

The reality star took to her social media once again to label L.A. mayor Karen Bass ‘a joke’ – and was soon slammed by fans over the comment.
