Sami Zayn is in the ring. The Canadian reveals that he spoke with Adam Pearce to confirm his participation in this year’s Royal Rumble Match. Seth Rollins’ words about Sami being a great helper made him think; Zayn is among a select group of wrestlers who belong to WWE, and he knows that the best ones are in the Battle Royal. The only difference between all those confirmed so far for this year’s Royal Rumble, and Sami Zayn, is that the others have a World Championship and he doesn’t.

Despite this, Zayn mentions that he’s had a great life, and a great career. Sami mentions that he doesn’t need a World Championship to be at the level of everyone else, BUT HE WANTS TO HAVE IT because of the dream that his 14-year-old self once had. He wants a World Championship and promises to go after it when he’s interrupted… BY KEVIN OWENS . It was just a matter of time before the two met, so Sami asks how this will go down. Kevin doesn’t understand why Sami teamed with Roman Reigns at Survivor Series, but then reflects that they have a lot of history between them, just like they have theirs. Sami granted Roman forgiveness, as well as Kevin; that’s just the way he is, he’s a good person. Owens considers Zayn his best friend, he’s always said so, and he believes with all his might that he will win the Royal Rumble.

KO reminds Sami that they were main eventers at WrestleMania to become Tag Team Champions, but they still have a dream to fulfill : going head-to-head for the WWE Championship on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.” Kevin thinks they’ll both win at WWE Royal Rumble 2025 because he’ll have Sami’s back, just as Zayn will have him’s back in his match against Cody Rhodes if necessary. KO says no more and walks out of the ring, leaving Sami Zayn in thought.
