Meghan Markle was all smiles as she appeared in a new photograph alongside one of her pals following her Instagram return and the launch of the trailer of her new cookery show on Netflix.
The Duchess of Sus𝑠e𝑥 has had quite a productive start to the new year as she made her grand return to social media after a hiatus following her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018.
Meghan made two posts on her account: a short video of her at the beach and the trailer for her long-awaited cookery show for Netflix, which was now revealed to be titled With Love, Meghan.
And it seems like the duchess celebrated her big announcement by spending a fun day with close pal Jamie Kern Lima.
The IT Cosmetics co-founder took to Instagram to share a sweet new selfie with Meghan and to congratulate her on the joyous news.
In the post, which she uploaded on Friday, the entrepreneur said: “Congrats @meghan on the announcement of your new show With Love, Meghan on @netflix it was so much fun to celebrate with you today!”
In the photo, Meghan can be seen wearing a black top which she paired with gold jewellery, while he hair is styled in loose waves. She appears to be sitting under a tree alongside her friend.
Ms Lima did not reveal what the two women got up to for their fun day out, but added: “I’m so excited for the world to experience even more of your joy, your heart, your kindness, your humor, your humility, your compassion, your many talents and your LOVE! You’re an incredible friend to so many, including me, and I’m excited to cheer you on as you continue to build, create magic and FLY!

The new eight-part series will launch on January 15 and will see Meghan inviting friends and famous guests to a California estate, where she shares cooking, gardening and hosting tips.
On Thursday, Meghan shared the new trailer for her show on her Instagram page and said: “I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it.
“Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team netflix. Beyond grateful for the support – and fun!”
A promotional synopsis of the show said: “This inspiring series, produced by Meghan, Duchess of Sus𝑠e𝑥, reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-tos and candid conversation with friends, new and old.
“Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected.
“She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.”
