Inside the £5 Million Reality TV Home Meghan Markle Chose for Her New Netflix Series

The trailer for Meghan Markle’s upcoming Netflix show was released yesterday, stirring excitement among fans of the duchess worldwide.

In the trailer for the cooking and lifestyle show, named “With Love, Meghan”, the duchess, 43, can be seen cooking for friends in a beautiful kitchen, originally believed to be the one in her Montecito mansion where she lives with Prince Harry and their children Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.

However, this is now confirmed to not be the case as MailOnline has since revealed that the mum-of-two instead was filmed in a kitchen and home that she does not own for the eight-episode series.

As reported by MailOnline, the property rented for filming is just two miles away from her own Montecito home, and sits on an idyllic £5million ($6.1million) estate owned by Tom and Sherrie Cipolla, a couple who run in the high society circles of the American Riviera.

The property spans across 4,500 sq feet and is the set for the Netflix series, which sees Meghan and her celebrity friends gather to cook, bake and flower arrange.

In the trailer, the most prominent scenes of the duchess are filmed in the homes kitchen, which features a £15,000 cooker, £600 pans and £60 chopping boards.

The duchess can also be seen preparing most of the food at the kitchen’s central island unit, where her friends gather to chat and watch on.

It is not known why the duchess opted to film the series at a rented property, however this could be a result of a want to maintain some privacy or to avoid disruption to her home set up.

Fans initially thought scenes from the trailer were from her own Montecito mansion, especially as her beloved beagle Guy was featured in certain scenes, along with her husband Prince Harry.

The series is set to air on Netflix on January 15, with many fans already showing their excitement.

The official description for the show on Netflix reads: “This inspiring series, produced by Meghan, Duchess of Sus𝑠e𝑥, reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old.

“Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected.

“She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.”
