Manchester United have been linked with Dusan Vlahovic this summer amid uncertainty over his Juventus future.
This summer, Manchester United want to sign a new striker. And one player to have been linked with a move to Old Trafford is Dusan Vlahovic, who is facing an uncertain future at Juventus. It was previously reported the striker wanted to play for Erik ten Hag – and whether the Red Devils revive interest in the Serbia international remains to be seen.
Manchester United are facing a fight to sign a new forward this summer.
They’ve been priced out of a deal for Harry Kane, with Napoli also demanding huge money to let go of Victor Osimhen.
United are struggling to break Atalanta’s resolve on Rasmus Hojlund, while links to Goncalo Ramos have gone quiet.
Amid their search for a fresh talisman, Vlahovic is a player who could come under consideration again.
And 90min revealed back in January that the 23-year-old was willing to move to Old Trafford and wanted to play under Ten Hag.
United, if they swooped for Vlahovic, would be signing a player with huge potential.
The Serb was deadly during his time at Fiorentina, even if he failed to score in his first 10 games for the club.
He left last year with 49 goals from 108 appearances, having netted 20 times from his final 24 matches.
Vlahovic has blown hot and cold at Juventus so far.
But a record of 23 goals from 63 matches is still commendable and shows he’d be an exciting addition for United to make.
The Red Devils previously dealt with Juventus when they signed Cristiano Ronaldo two years ago.
And as they search for a new player to go at the tip of their attack, Vlahovic is certainly one worth considering.
The 23-year-old is currently being linked with Chelsea, with Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino eager to strike a deal.
“Vlahovic [is] a viable option for Chelsea and potentially Manchester United, who have a long list of targets,” he said.
But United would be onto a winner with Vlahovic and their need is arguably even greater.
“Vlahovic [is] open to leaving Juventus after two seasons.”
He added: “Arsenal and Spurs interest is historical. Edu tried in January 2022 and Fabio Paratici urged Daniel Levy to sign Vlahovic when he was still at Fiorentina.
“It remains to be seen if either club reignite their interest at this point.”
