Conor McGregor has been relatively silent in recent weeks following the verdict of his civil case, which ended with him being found liable for assault. However, today, he has taken to X to share a picture of himself and his entourage enjoying themselves at a beachside restaurant.
Dubbing them ‘Team Sunshine,’ McGregor can be seen flexing in the front double-bicep pose. The snaps include pictures of the food the group enjoyed at their table, with a smiling McGregor, who recently claimed he has agreed to an exhibition boxing match with Logan Paul at the request of the billionaire Ambani family.
McGregor is currently enjoying the holidays, but with his reported boxing match with Paul expected, he will look to get into fight shape. Given his prior derision for the influencer boxing world, he will not want to afford a loss to Paul, but knocking out an opponent with a pronounced size advantage won’t be easy.
This is especially true under exhibition rules, where the pair will likely wear larger gloves. Nevertheless, the former UFC double champion appears to be at ease.

MMA fans will be relieved that McGregor highlighted his boxing match with Paul as a precursor to his return to the octagon instead of a sign for his future career path. The UFC has been awaiting his return since his 2021 injury against Dustin Poirier, but numerous incidents have taken place since to prevent it.
Conor McGregor has experienced various setbacks since his planned return
2024 has not been kind to Conor McGregor, who has faced scandals, financial repercussions and an unforeseen delay to his UFC return. He was expected to finally settle his differences with Michael Chandler at UFC 303, but withdrew from the fight due to a broken toe, for which he received mockery from fellow fighters.

Alex Pereira stepped in to save the event, facing Jiří Procházka in a short-notice bout, winning via knockout in the second round. As for McGregor, he is now expected to make his octagon return at some point in 2025.
