NFL wide receiver DJ Moore is parting with his Charlotte, North Carolina, home, which he listed on Thursday for $5 million.
Moore, who was traded to the Chicago Bears last season, was with the Carolina Panthers from 2018-2022. Moore, who couldn’t be reached for comment, bought the Charlotte property using a trust in June 2022 for $5 million, public records show.
The home sits on 3.9 acres along Lake Wylie on the South Carolina border, giving much of the home views of the water.
Built in 2019, the white-shingle house spans more than 9,700 square feet and has three levels of living space. The main floor has an open plan that includes a kitchen featuring backlit Cristallo Quartzite countertops and a large bar for entertaining, according to the listing with Tracy Davis of Ivester Jackson Christie’s International Real Estate.
The kitchen leads out to a screened-in balcony that overlooks the lake and has a fireplace and space for a TV, listing photos show.
There are five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and one partial bath, with a spacious primary suite that’s outfitted with a fireplace and a private balcony. The primary bathroom has a soaking tub, a double-entry shower and the same backlit countertops that can be found in the kitchen.
While the primary suite is located on the main level, the other four bedrooms are on the upper level, which is equipped with a second laundry room.
On the lower level, there’s a great room, a home gym and a theater. It also leads out to a covered outdoor space.
Outside, there’s a swimming pool and an in-ground trampoline. The home has both an attached and a detached garage.
