Gunther vs Damian Priest vs Finn Bálor

Damian Priest hits Gunther hard enough to send him out of the ring and then takes a run at the champion with a Cannonball. Finn Bálor is the one in the ring to face his former partner, but Gunther abruptly returns to the scene to knock down his two rivals with a boot to the face on each one. The Austrian decides to catch Priest with a Boston Crab, leaving him exposed to receive a Chop from Bálor. While the Europeans battle, Priest takes advantage to knock them down with a Double Clothesline.

Damian Priest then chops Gunther’s chest with several chops and also delivers some punishment on Finn. It looked like “The Archer of Infamy” was about to lose the advantage, but he blocks a hit from Gunther to take him down old-school style, and then connects a flatliner on Finn Bálor. Damian dominates the actions on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event ( December 14, 2024 ). Priest tried to finish Bálor, but Gunther returns to the scene. Now it is Bálor who takes advantage to knock down each of his rivals with a Sling Blade. Finn tries to continue, but Gunther stops him with a Sleeper; the Irishman almost achieves the pin using the champion’s own hold.

Priest hadn’t noticed the situation, so Gunther takes advantage to take him to the mat with a “Sleeper”; Damian survives the lock, and a “Chop” doesn’t weaken him at this point, so he knocks Gunther down with a “South of Heaven” . Bálor is back to attack Priest with a “Sling Blade” followed by a “Drop Kick”, but he can’t finish his rival because Gunther moves the ropes. “The General of the Ring” goes to the heights to try to attack Bálor, but Priest knocks the first one down with a “Razor’s Edge”; Finn takes advantage to punish Gunther with a “Coupe de Grace”, but Priest prevents his victory!

Damian Priest reacts by attacking Finn Bálor with a «South of Heaven»! Gunther takes Damian Priest out of the ring by the hair, applies pressure with a «Sleeper» AND NEUTRALIZES HIM WITH A «POWERBOMB» AGAINST THE STEEL STEPS! GUNTHER RETURNS TO THE RING TO KNOCK OUT FINN BÁLOR WITH A «DROP KICK» FOLLOWED BY A «POWERBOMB»! GUNTHER RETAINS THE WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!
