Inside Conor McGregor’s relationship with fiancee Dee Devlin and his staggering net worth

Conor McGregor, one of the biggest names in UFC, has been found liable for assaulting a woman in a Dublin hotel six years ago.

The former UFC champion has been ordered to pay £200,000 in damages to Miss Nikita Hand, who accused the 36-year-old fighter of rape.

McGregor leads a lavish lifestyle with fiancee Dee Devlin, with whom he shares four children. The Irishman erupted onto the ultimate fighting scene in 2013, having made his professional debut in 2008. Fast-forward 11 years, and the Dubliner is one of the sport’s most recognisable and wealthiest names, despite last entering the octagon in 2021.

A big-money boxing bout against Floyd Mayweather only added to the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion’s wallet, as Mirror Sport looks at the life led by McGregor, his net worth, and his relationship with fiancee Devlin.

Net worth

Although McGregor’s exact net worth is unknown, but the far-from-modest fighter told the Irish Mirror in 2023: “I’m closing in on a billion now. I think I’m at about $650m (£520m) all in I’ve made. I think they (Forbes) estimate that. I’d have to probably do my own little check of that. But I fancy my chances, I fancy my chances of getting up that list.”

McGregor isn’t short of money

On the other hand, Celebrity Net Worth have McGregor’s fortune standing at roughly the £160million mark. The battle with Mayweather in 2017 pocketed him north of £100m alone, and he has various business ventures to accompany his lucrative brawling paydays.

Business ventures

One of the Irishman’s most notable projects would be his Proper 12 Whiskey brand, which was the main focus of his efforts until 2021 when it was sold for a reported £400m – McGregor pocketing a healthy wedge of that total himself.

The Irishman launched his stout last year

Alongside this, McGregor launched his Forged Irish Stout last year, confidently stating upon the realise: “We’re not here to take part, we’re here to take over.” In addition to personal endeavours, the Irishman reportedly holds endorsements from Beats by Dre, Monster Energy, Reebok, and Bud Light.

Dee Devlin

McGregor met partner Devlin 15 years ago. They welcomed their first child, Conor Jr., into the world in 2017, just before the infamous Mayweather bout.

Their second child and first daughter, Croia, was born two years later. A year after that, the pair got engaged, with McGregor popping the question just before Devlin’s 33rd birthday – though the two have yet to marry.

In 2021 second son Rian was born, and last year, their family grew with the birth of their youngest son Mack, with McGregor taking to Instagram after the birth to reveal: “Another chunky healthy boy into the world. Dee, you are my hero.”

A return?

The often-retired McGregor has long seemed as though he would bounce back from the leg injury he sustained in his last UFC bout against Dustin Poirier in 2021, and a comeback was on the cards last year with Michael Chandler lined up to face him.

Yet, another injury forced the Irishman out of the bout, and he has since expressed his annoyance to the UFC about them not being able to find an opponent for him.

However, UFC president Dana White is hopeful that he could make a return, telling the Outta Pocket podcast: “He’s fighting with everybody right now, but he’s not fighting anybody right now. I’ve said this a lot.

“Conor has gotten into a position where he’s made so much money, and he has all these businesses that continue to make him a lot of money.

“It’s tough to get up and fight when you’re in the position that he’s in. I do believe that Conor McGregor will fight in ’25. There is no fight made or a date set or any of that.”
