The Unexpected Way BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Prefers To Spend Her Birthday

Girl’s Day’s Hyeri offers to throw her a birthday party and Jisoo has a surprising reaction.

BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo appeared on Girl’s Day Hyeri‘s new talk show, Hyeri’s Club, and the two showed off their close friendship by sharing fun stories about their dynamic, how they met, Jisoo’s self-proclaimed “stalker” status, and more.

Jisoo recently celebrated her 29th birthday, which reminded Hyeri of the birthday party the Girl’s Day member had thrown two years prior.

Jisoo revealed that she and Hyeri had to “forcibly raise the mood” because not everyone at the party knew each other.

Hyeri unexpectedly went from “birthday girl” to “matchmaker” during her party and spent much of the time introducing their friends to each other based on common interests.

Jisoo, who had also attended the birthday party, hilariously admitted that Hyeri had “seemed a bit busy” that night.

Hyeri asked Jisoo what the BLACKPINK member had done for her birthday in 2023, and Jisoo shared that she didn’t remember, likely because the group was busy with their BORN PINK world tour.

Hyeri suggested that they throw Jisoo a birthday party next year, but the BLACKPINK member declared that she prefers to spend her birthday alone.

When Hyeri reacted with surprise at her response, Jisoo hilariously explained that being alone on her birthday is her gift to herself.

Jisoo is well-known for her introverted tendencies and has often discussed her preference to stay in for the night instead of attending parties.
