An Orlando mansion that was built in the early 2000s for former ‘N Sync member Joey Fatone is back on the market for $15 million.
On the 4.3 acre lot is a Victorian-style manor turned funky, which matches the area’s reputation as an amusement hub: There’s a waterpark-like pool and a car showroom. The home is so close to Disney World that the fireworks are visible from the property’s helipad every night, according to the listing.
The lavish property, called Grand Oaks, holds a suite of amenities, including a lagoon-style pool that surrounds a faux rock island and caves that house a teppanyaki bar. The house-sized garage spans nearly 2,500 square feet with a turn-table car showroom.
The home was “meticulously designed to embody the extravagant vision of a renowned celebrity singer,” according to the listing with Julius Melendez of Kylin Property Management. He was not immediately available for comment.
The property also has a wet bar, a mini-golf course, a tennis court, a dock with water-ski parking and a billiards room, according to the listing.
The estate last changed hands in 2011, when Fatone sold it for $3.3 million to Three-W Canada International Corporation, a China-based educational services company, according to property records. The company wasn’t immediately available for comment, and it isn’t clear how the property has been used since the acquisition.
The home has been on and off the market this year and took a hiatus during hurricane season before relisting this week, records show.
Thick wooden front doors lead into the 10,000-square-foot home and the foyer with a spiral staircase and a chandelier. The living room surrounds a fireplace, with a set of French doors that lead to the sunroom. Mahogany-toned wood covers most of the interiors, including wooden coffered ceilings.
Out of its five bedrooms and six bathrooms, the primary suite ranks as the most decadent. There’s a vestibule entrance topped with a chandelier, leading to a sitting room and the bedroom beyond it. A metal chandelier hangs above the bed from the ceiling, creating a cave-like feel. A 750-square-foot walk-in closet is also attached to the suite.
The primary en-suite bathroom has more crystal chandeliers dangling from its high ceiling, and steps lead up to a round bathtub surrounded by columns. There’s also a steam room and sauna.
