Liv Morgan returns to defend her reign as WWE World Champion when she faces Rhea Ripley at WWE Bad Blood 2024 .

The saga of one of the longest-running rivalries in recent memory continues. After being the victim of one of the most heartbreaking betrayals in history during WWE SummerSlam 2024, Rhea Ripley remained strong to continue her path without Dominik Mysterio , who, without further ado, ended up staying with Liv Morgan after helping her retain the Women’s World Championship in Cleveland.

The members of The Judgment Day turned their backs on The Terror Twins at “The Biggest Event of the Summer” and began attacking them to begin a new chapter in the faction’s history. Of course, Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest did not sit idly by and immediately sought revenge against their former teammates. The Terror Twins prevailed in the numbers game at WWE Bash In Berlin 2024 to defeat Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan after the Australian achieved the three-count on the World Champion.

Rhea Ripley returned from Germany during WWE RAW ( September 2, 2024 ) to enforce the pin she had performed on Liv Morgan and was confronted by Dominik Mysterio, who declared that his new partner could beat the Australian once again, anywhere, anytime. This was all a trap so that Liv could attack Rhea and although the latter was somewhat weakened, she managed to strengthen her partnership with Priest to once again weaken the new version of The Judgment Day.

During WWE RAW ( September 9, 2024 ) the new title clash between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley was made official. But this time TJD began to deliver more than forceful blows on The Terror Twins, as they humiliated them with a violent attack, using the very crutch that Ripley was carrying after the injury caused by Morgan. Despite Priest protecting the Australian, none of them were saved from being victims of The Judgment Day, who now plan to deliver a definitive blow against their former partners when they meet in Atlanta.

WWE Bad Blood 2024  will take place on Saturday, October 5, from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
