Louis C.K. has chopped more than $1 million off the asking price of his historic Shelter Island, New York, home, which is now listed for $7.95 million.

The price cut comes not even two months after it hit the market at the end of July for $9.25 million.

The comedian and actor bought the waterfront home on Long Island’s East End in 2014 for $2.44 million, according to public records. A representative for C.K. did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Built in 1901, the Tudor-style home has undergone a restoration that kept its period charm while upgrading the six fireplaces, refurbishing the plaster and adding insulation to the second and third floors, according to the listing with Linda McCarthy and Debra Von Brook-Binder of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty.

The kitchen has been entirely remodeled as well, now boasting a marble-topped island with a butcher’s block, a farmhouse sink, blue and white tiled floors and a butler’s pantry, listing photos show.

 

Its nearly 5,000 square feet include six bedrooms, four full bathrooms and one partial bathroom.

New additions outside include a heated gunite swimming pool and hot tub, which are surrounded by a large brick patio.

Standing on 2 acres along the West Neck Bay, which feeds into the Shelter Island Sound, the home also comes with a deep-water dock that can accommodate multiple boats.

C.K., 56, is best known for stand-up comedy, winning three Grammy Awards and six Emmys. In 2017, the comedian faced allegations from five women of 𝑠e𝑥ual misconduct.
