After much anticipation, Keanu Reeves’ action-packed comic series BRZRKR is finally getting the big screen treatment. Reeves plays the immortal warrior known as B in the film. A savage, high-octane journey through time, violence, and existential inquiry is what BRZRKR promises to be—one of the most dramatic and violent action pictures of 2025.

BRZRKR, co-written by Reeves and Matt Kindt, quickly became a best-seller when it debuted in comic form in 2021. The story follows B, a half-mortal, half-God cursed with immortality, who has fought through millennia of wars and violence. After centuries of battle, he now works as a government operative, taking on dangerous missions in exchange for answers about his existence and a possible end to his unending life.

For Reeves, the film adaptation is a passion project that brings together his love of action, mythology, and existential themes. “B’s journey is about the weight of living forever, constantly fighting, and what it does to your soul. It’s a story of violence, but also of searching for meaning in a world that keeps pushing you into battle,” said Reeves in a recent interview.
