Fans are infuriated after Beyoncé  didn’t receive any nominations by the CMA awards.

The iconic performer, 43, who released her eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter, on March 29, has not been nominated in any categories for the Country Music Association awards, which will air on November 20.

Cowboy Carter, made in the country genre, offered the Beyhive fandom 27-tracks, which featured legendary artists such as Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson, and the album included catchy singles titled, Texas Hold Em’ and a re-worked version of the iconic song Jolene.

Beyoncé, who was the first black woman to hold the number one single on the hot country songs charts for the catchy track, Texas Hold Em’, had shared online that the album’s fruition was ‘over five years in the making.’

She transparently expressed on social media that the album came from an experience that she had years ago, during which she didn’t ‘feel welcomed,’ and most fans were aware that she was referencing the negative backlash that she received, when she performed her song Daddy Lessons, with the Dixie Chicks, who now rebranded to the Chicks, during the CMA awards in 2016.

After Beyoncé powerfully took the stage, users flooded CMA’s social media posts featuring the performance online, with extremely racist commentary.

The remarks got so aggressive, that the CMAs purged the footage from all its accounts.

In Beyoncé’s caption announcing her Cowboy Carter’s album release, the singer reflected more on the negative experience.

She explained that despite the commentary, she did ‘a deeper dive’ into the roots of country music, and felt inspired by how ‘music can unite’ us.

Beyoncé candidly shared that the criticisms that she got motivated her to overcome the limitations and glass ceilings that were in her way.

The singer added that she dreams that in the future, ‘the mention of an artist’s race, as it relates to releasing genres of music, will be irrelevant.’

In conclusion, she confidently stated that her album ‘ain’t a country album,’ but rather ‘a “Beyoncé” album.’

Her fans were blown away by Cowboy Carter, and flocked to X, formerly know as Twitter, to praise the performer.

Post-album drop, the singer shared: ‘The joy of creating music is that there are no rules. The more I see the world evolving, the more I felt a deeper connection to purity.’

Fast-forward to today’s CMA awards nomination announcement, and the fans have flooded to X, to call out the snub as ‘racist asf’ and ‘boldly disrespectful.’

Fans were also quick to point out that Shaboozey, 29, who was featured on two songs on Beyoncé’s album, titled Spaghetti and Sweet Honey Buckiin’, was nominated for CMA’s single of the year for, A Bar Song (Tipsy), and as new artist of the year.

In a second tweet, Shaboozey opened up about getting nominated being a full circle moment in his career, because in 2016 he made a song about becoming a CMA winner, and now he’s up for two awards.

He added online: ‘[Saying] what an honor [this is], would be an understatement.’

One person wrote: ‘I fully believe if he wins, he will thank Beyonce before anyone else.’
