The Academy Awards, known as the Oscars, are held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and attract the biggest names in the showbiz world.

Wearing a crisp white shirt and a pair of tight black jeans, Scarlett was the picture of beauty as she strolled around back stage.

Her blonde crop was perfectly coffered and she slipped on some trendy mules for the backstage shots.

She will duke it out with fellow Brit beauty Felicity Jones in the Best Actress category for The Theory of Everything.
