Rebel Wilson makes a $1 million profit even after cutting the price of the L.A. “content house” by $300,000.

Rebel Wilson is trying again to find a buyer for her “content house” in Los Angeles, and she’s hopeful that a significant price reduction will entice an offer.

After failing to receive any serious interest in the five-bedroom property, the 44-year-old Australian took down the listing six weeks after placing it on the market for $4.15 million.

However, the “Pitch Perfect” star is back at it, having relisted the house for a very appealing $300,000 (or 7%) reduction, asking only $3.85 million.

Wilson paid $2.95 million for the home near West Hollywood, according to the Wall Street Journal, with the intention of using it as her “office” and a location from which to produce social media material.

She is apparently prepared to downsize in the interim in order to spend more time in the Hollywood Hills with her family, which includes fiancée Ramona Agruma and their child.

Since she purchased the home eight years ago, Wilson’s life has completely transformed. The star not only came out as queer and introduced the world to her partner, Agruma, she then revealed months later that she had welcomed her first child, a daughter, via a surrogate.

Now, she’s marking another milestone by walking away from her stunning Los Angeles home.

Traditional yet elegant design is the main theme of the interior, which includes tall ceilings, multiple fireplaces, and a large chef’s kitchen with luxe appliances that’s open to the main living space.

There’s a huge island for prepping and serving as well as space for a dining table and a breakfast nook. The first-floor living space opens to the rear yard and a covered patio by the pool.

In the primary suite, a private balcony awaits, along with a spacious walk-in closet and a beautiful bathroom with a deep tub, chandelier, double sinks, and a large shower with a bench.

Among the other amenities are a home office, a custom exercise space, and a media room. A spa comes with the sparkling pool, and privacy hedges surround the verdant yard.

Wilson got started in acting in her native country by appearing on several TV shows. She later had a small but memorable role in the 2011 U.S. hit “Bridesmaids,” playing the hilariously quirky roommate of Kristen Wiig‘s character.

However, she’s best known for her role as “Fat Amy” in the “Pitch Perfect” movie franchise, which skyrocketed her to global fame.

More recently, she’s appeared in “The Almond and the Seahorse” and “Senior Year” films and has even released a highly controversial memoir in early 2024, in which she opened up about a wide variety of very personal topics.

In the tome, titled “Rebel Rising,” the actress dished on her first 𝑠e𝑥ual encounters, her difficult relationship with her father, and her fertility struggles.
