Taylor Swift will attend Travis Kelce’s first Chiefs game of the 2024 NFL season: report

Taylor Swift will reportedly attend Travis Kelce’s first game of the 2024 NFL season Thursday night.

The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., with an 8:20 p.m. kickoff time.

The New York Times reported Thursday that the stadium has made security arrangements for the pop superstar, 34, to attend the Week 1 game, citing anonymous security personnel.

Page Six has reached out to reps for the Chiefs, Swift and Kelce but did not immediately hear back.

Chiefs president Mark Donovan has also not confirmed whether Swift will be at the game, but he has said that his staff has preparations in place for the Grammy winner.

“She wants to be there to support Travis,” he said on “Front Office Sports” Thursday, reflecting on past games she attended, “And we’re going to create that opportunity. We’re going to provide that opportunity.”

In July, it was revealed that Kelce’s suite at Arrowhead Stadium had been updated with a special nod to Swift.

The private suite — from which the “Lover” singer will likely watch all of the Chiefs games with Kelce’s family and friends — had a photo of her onstage hanging up alongside a poster of the NFL star in uniform.

Donovan also pointed out on “Front Office Sports” that this is her “off time” as the “You Belong With Me” singer is currently on hiatus from her Eras Tour.

Swift last performed for her fans in London and is set to return to the stage on Oct. 18 in Miami, according to her website’s tour schedule.

Donovan added that he recognized that fans want to see Swift during the live NFL broadcast, but said he and his colleagues made a “conscious decision to respect the relationship.”

“We’re not trying to capitalize on this,” he said. “We’re trying to celebrate it, but it’s not about doing too much or showing her every touchdown. She never appeared on our big board.”

Given the Chiefs’ president’s remarks, it’s unclear whether Swift will be shown on TV Thursday night.

However, the “Shake It Off” singer was credited last year with for spiking a major increase in the NFL’s ratings, so it’s clear Swifties will likely be tuning in.

Kelce, for his part, is fine with all of the attention that his famous girlfriend has gotten.

The Chiefs tight end, 34, told “CBS Mornings” Thursday that it “doesn’t bother him” to be considered Swift’s “arm candy.”

He added, “It’s the life I chose, I guess. I have fun with it.”
