Jennifer Lawrence Wears a yellow sweater to embrace motherhood before getting dressed in Dior for the WWD Honors

On Tuesday, Jennifer Lawrence took her son Cy on a stroll in New York City, looking put together and appreciating her role as a mother.

A few hours later, at the 2024 Women’s Wear Daily Honors, the Hunger Games star switched up her casual ensemble for a black Christian Dior dress that conveyed understated luxury.

Pushing her son in a black Babyzen Yoyo stroller, Lawrence, who delivered her first child in February 2022 with her husband Cooke Maroney, director of an art gallery, looked stunning in a marigold yellow sweater and pristine white flowing shorts.

Flaunting her immaculate legs, Lawrence perfectly executed the Gen Z trend of socks and sandals by donning white ankle socks and then donning a clunky black pair of “ugly sandals.”

She then stepped out without makeup, letting her hair flow freely in natural waves over her shoulders and hiding her eyes with $320 in enormous square tortoiseshell Stella McCartney sunglasses.

Later that day, Lawrence changed from her casual outfit to a classy black dress as she graced the red carpet at the 2024 WWD Honors held at New York City’s Casa Cipriani.

J.Law, a Dior ambassador since 2012, naturally wore a creation from the French luxury fashion house’s latest Spring 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection.

The No Hard Feelings actress took the stage in a sophisticated black wool dress to present Christian Dior creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri with the John B. Fairchild Award.

Her Dior outfit featured an asymmetric off-the-shoulder neckline, scrunched-up long sleeves, a midi-length hem, and a belted waist that accentuated her enviable figure.

Bringing her signature minimalist style to the event, J.Law kept her neck bare and styled her black dress simply with the $28,000 Doughnut Bangle in 18k gold and the $3,500 High Tide earrings, both by Tiffany & Co. x Elsa Peretti.

Stylist Jamie Mizrahi, who also works with Adele, Ariana Grande, and Riley Keough, completed the Red Sparrow actress’ ensemble with nude The Row “Lana” pumps, available for $1,090 at Net-a-Porter.

These understated pumps are made from glossy patent leather in a versatile sand shade and feature a slightly exaggerated pointed toe, squared vamps, and 3-inch cone-shaped heels.

Hairstylist Rebekah Forecast pulled her tresses in a chic center-parted ponytail, while makeup artist Hung Vanngo gave her sleek look a pop of color with vibrant red lipstick.
