Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lost another member of staff at Archewell, it has been reported.
Christine Weil Schirmer – who was the couple’s head of communications – left quietly towards the end of last year, according to the Mail on Sunday.
Christine is the tenth staff member to have left the couple in the past three years and is said to have taken a role with PR giant Brunswick last month.
She started working for Archewell back in 2020, shortly after Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior working royals.
Prior to this latest departure, it emerged that the Sus𝑠e𝑥es’ chief of staff Josh Kettler had suddenly quit his job last month after working for the couple since May.
Josh Kettler, a who is known to be a public relations professional, began working with Harry shortly before his and Meghan Markle’s three-day trip to Nigeria in May.
Josh was seen alongside Harry at St Paul’s Cathedral on his trip to London when he attended a 10th-anniversary service for his Invictus Games in early May.
His departure came after he was reportedly hired to “guide him [Harry] through his next phase”.
It is understood that his decision to leave was “mutual” and that he was hired on a trial basis, with “both sides agreeing it wasn’t the right fit”.
Speaking of working for the couple, one former employee previously said: “What may be most telling is that the entire time I worked there, I don’t think I heard a single current or former employee on their staff say they would take the job again if given the chance.
“These aren’t employees they had just found off the streets. Many of them are people who had previously excelled working for demanding bosses in high-performance companies and environments.”
As reported by the Mirror, a source says the Duke is reportedly “turning away from all sorts of Hollywood publicists” and is instead “seeking counsel from his old friends and associates”, according to MailOnline.
They added: “He is clearly reaching out thinking, ‘I need to do something different because what I’m doing is clearly not working.’ In short, he is rethinking the way he operates.”
