The former Oscar winner is a presenter at the ceremony, and chose a retro-chic look for the occasion

Jennifer Lawrence is back at the Oscars!

On Sunday, the Oscar winner, who has not been at the ceremony since 2018, arrived at the 96th Academy Awards in style — and a whole lot of polka dots.

Lawrence, 33, hit the red carpet at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre in a custom Dior Haute Couture ensemble consisting of a black strapless gown and shawl featuring the distinctive print.

The actress and Dior ambassador paired the elegant look with a simple but stunning string of sparkling jewels of different shapes around her neck and wrist, by Swarovski Created Diamonds.

As styled by Jamie Mizrahi, Lawrence kept all eyes on the polka-dotted gown with a simple, bronzed glam by Hung Vanngo and her dirty blonde tresses in a slicked-back side part created by Rebekah Forecast.

This year, Lawrence is attending as the Oscars as a presenter. Among the night’s other presenters are Dwayne Johnson, Bad Bunny, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicolas Cage and many more.

When the Hunger Games actress went to the Oscars in 2018, she wore a gorgeous gunmetal beaded Dior gown and Niwaka jewels.

Just last month, all eyes were on Lawrence at Dior’s show during Paris Fashion Week. The No Hard Feelings star sat front row wearing a 𝑠e𝑥y take on the three-piece suit: a tight-fitting waistcoat, boxy blazer and ankle-length pants — all in charcoal gray.

She accessorized her look with pointy-toe heels, sunglasses and a Lady Dior bag.

The ambassador for the house also attended an event for the brand during the holiday season. She was on hand in New York City at Saks Fifth Avenue, where the iconic store unveiled its holiday windows in partnership with Dior.

While presenting the display to a small crowd in attendance — wearing a black belted coat for the outdoor event — her belt popped open just as she began to speak.

“I’m so sorry that was so loud and my belt popped off,” Lawrence said with a laugh, referring to the volume of the microphone that had startled her, causing her to flinch. She handled the wardrobe malfunction like a pro and continued on.
